These Terms govern your use of Pierce of Art and provide information about our service, outlined below. When you purchase through our website, create an account, book an appointment or otherwise use Pierce of Art, you agree to these terms.
The Pierce of Art service is provided by brooks&grant limited. Therefore these Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and brooks&grant limited (“we,” “us” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the pierceofart.com website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site” or "Service").
Accepting the Terms
In order to use the service, you must agree to the Terms. You may not use the service if you do not accept the Terms.
You can accept the Terms by simply using the service. You understand and agree that your use of the service will be treated as acceptance of the terms from this point onwards.
You may not use this service and may not accept the terms if (a) you are not of legal age to form a binding contract with us, or (b) you are a person who is either barred or otherwise legally prohibited from receiving or using the service under the laws of the country in which you are resident or from which you access or use the service.
We offer an online priority booking service for which you are able to book and guarentee your piercing appointment date and time by blocking out the time required to fulfil your treatment. For this service a payment of £10 will be payable by you to demonstrate your comitment to the appointment and will be deducted from the final amount payable upon completion of your piercing appointment.
Due to the nature of blocking out a specific time frame for your service, Pierce of Art could incur significant financial loss should you not attend your appointment without reasonable prior notice. Therefore payments made using our booking service are not refundable under these terms.
Reasonable time for cancelations
Weekdays: 48 hours notice
Weekends: 72 hours notice
Shoud you foresee a legitimate reason for not attending your appointment time please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org as we may be able to rearrange your appointment time without penalty.
We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa / Visa Electron, Mastercard and Switch / Maestro, however we do not accept American Express.
Our secure payment gateways includes shopify payments which uses state of the art security tools and techniques, both proprietary and unique, to ensure that you are protected against what is nowadays a virtually non-existent risk. The technology also has inbuilt system redundancy and fault tolerance, to provide us with a virtually uninterrupted service 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
When placing your order, you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number i.e. the address and phone number your bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once your credit card has been approved.
Most items are in stock and will be dispatched immediately therefore full payment is required at point of sale.
Availability of Goods
All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any monies already paid for them.
Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions. The company is entitled to amend its terms and conditions but any such changes will not affect contracts that have already been formed.
These terms and conditions are subject to UK law.Returns policy
We take great care to ensure that your order reaches you promptly and in excellent condition, each item passes through quality control before despatch. All products (unless otherwise stated) are guaranteed for 28 days from purchase. This guarantee does not cover accidental damage or damage caused by misuse of an item.
Please note all Gold orders that are made to order specifically for you, based on your choices are not returnable - Please check carefully before ordering! This is in line with Distance Selling Regulations (DSR).
Please note we only accept return of good for damaged and faulty products, this is for hygiene reasons.
All returns for either damaged/faulty goods must be confirmed by email to email@example.com within 7 days of receiving your purchase, Please include your order number, name and reason for returning.
Items returned must be in a new and unused condition and in the original packaging. We will refund the cost of the items; however shipping charges are non-refundable unless faulty.
All returns are the responsibility of the customer until they reach Pierce of Art.
Free First Class Delivery when you spend over £50 other wise £2.99.
We strive to ensure your order reaches you promptly and in excellent condition. Orders placed Monday to Friday are dispatched within 1 to 3 days priority service with 98% of all packages delivered the next day subject to stock availability and security checks.

European deliveries arrive within 3-7 working days depending on customs and destination.
International deliveries arrive within 6-12 working days depending on destination and customs.
You can choose a different delivery address from the invoice address, for example if you require the order to be shipped to your work address.
Please note that before placing an order you will be asked to agree to these terms. If you do not accept these terms, we won't be able to process your order.

All products displayed on this website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to reflect the finished product colours as accurately as possible, we are unable to guarantee that your computers display of the colours accurately reflects the true colour of the finished product.
All drawings, photos, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising issued on this website and any descriptions, photos or illustrations contained in Pierce of Art's catalogues or brochures are issued or published for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the products described in them and to provide an idea of how the product will look, and will not form any part of the contract with you.
You can purchase our products through our online checkout process, in store or by an authorised retailer.
Our shopping pages will guide you through the steps you need to take to place an order with us through our website. Our order process allows you to check and ammend your order before submitting it to us. Please take the time to read and check your order at each stage of the process.
After placing an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does mean that your order has been accepted by us and we have started the process of making your product. However, we reserve the right as all times and at our sole descretion to refuse to accept any orders. If we are unable to supply you with a product, we will inform you by e-mail and will refund your order.
The prices displayed on this international website are quoted in GB pounds and unless stated include VAT at 20% (UK Tax).
Products that are to be delivered outside of the UK will be sent DDU ( Delivery Duty Unpaid). This means your order may then be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches its destination. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Import duty and taxes will be invoiced directly to you from the courier or an import broker. We recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to placing an order.
All prices for our products exclude postage and packaging, which will be charged at the rates advised to you during the checkout process before you confirm your order.
Your payment shall be deemed to have been received by us when we have received cleared funds.
How to Pay
You can only pay for products using a debit card or credit card. We do not accept Amazon Pay, PayPal, WeChat pay, Alipay, Klarna or any other third party platform.
Payment for the products and all applcable charges will be taken at the time of ordering.
Shipping and Delivery
Once we have received your order we will take all reasonable steps to deliver your product within 2 days (UK Addresses). However, delivery times are subject to product availablity, third party services such as delivery service companies, and to possible delays due to credit card authorisation, compliance with customs controls and other factors outside of our control. We will advise you as soon as practicable if there is a delay or likelihood of delay in the supply of your products.
We can only ship to countries featured on our shipping list page. Please note that we do not ship to PO Boxes.
If an incorrect destination country is selected during the checkout process, or the address entered doesn't correspond to the country selected, we will cancel your order and notify you by e-mail. In the interest of security, we reserve the right to dispatch the product(s) on this website to the billing address belonging to the credit card used as payment and not to the nominated delivery address supplied by you.
You will need to ensure somebody is available to sign for receipt of the products at the delivery address. If there is nobody at the delivery address to take delivery and sign for the products, you can contact the courier to arrange a new delivery time. We cannot be responsible for any delivery problems arising from incomplete or incorrect address details supplied by you.
Delivery of an order shall be completed when we deliver your products to the address detailed in your order and the products will be your responsibility from that time. You own the products once we have received payment in full, including all applicable delivery charges. If you prevent delivery of the products by, for example, failing to supply the courier or your local customs tax office with the necessary information or documentation, or failing to pay local customs, taxes or currier's administration fees so you package is returned to Pierce of Art, any resulting postage or currier's administration fees incurred will be liable to be paid by you.
Returns and Exchanges
If you change your mind within 30 days, you can obtain a refund if you have your original receipt or proof of purchase. If you don’t have proof of purchase, we are happy to exchange your items. Items returned must be in their original sale condition.
CONDITIONS OF RETURN:
- Items returned must be in their original sale condition (unworn and unused with all original packaging and labels)
- Earrings, body piercing products, hair accessories, face masks and gift cards cannot be returned for change of mind reasons.
- Shipping costs from online purchases and click and collect are non-refundable.
- You may be asked to provide personal details for returns or exchanges for verification purposes.
Unfortunately, we cannot refund or exchange earrings, body piercing products, hair accessories or face masks for hygiene reasons. We also cannot refund or exchange gift cards.
If you believe an item you have purchased is faulty please Contact Us or visit your local store.
YOUR RIGHT TO A REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE
You are entitled to a refund for items you purchase from Pierce of Art if the item is:
- (a) faulty and the fault or defect was not pointed out to you before you purchased it or would not have been apparent to you when you inspected the goods before purchase; or
- (b) Not 'of merchantable quality', meaning that it is not of the quality that you reasonably expected when you purchased it, bearing in mind the way the item was described to you before your purchase and also the price of the item; or
- (c) Not fit for its purpose, meaning that the item does not do what you reasonably expected it would, and you return the item within a reasonable time after purchase and provide Pierce of Art with proof of purchase, such as your original Pierce of Art receipt or bank statement.
If you do not return the item within a reasonable time, you will not be entitled to a refund of the purchase price, but you will be entitled to exchange the goods or have them repaired.
If you are entitled to a refund but you would prefer to exchange the item or receive a Pierce of Art gift card of equivalent value to the item, Pierce of Art is happy to exchange or give you a gift card.

All returns will be processed within 10 business days of receiving your parcel and you will be notified via email once it is completed.
If you are outside of the UK we currently do not offer online returns.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
Any refund will be made in the same way as your original payment method.
For hygeine reasons we do not offer exchanges on our body piercing jewellery, and or not permitted to do so by law.
Pierce of Art uses HTTPS Web Server Certificates. Assuring you that the this website site is secure and your identity has been authenticated to the industry’s highest standard. When you see the padlock in the address bar you can be confident to proceed and complete your transaction.
When you shop with us or communicate your personal details to our payment system that then talks to our merchant provider, HTTPS allows all personal information, such as your credit card number, to be encrypted as it travels from one designated place to the next. Once received, the information is unencrypted and processed in the same way as a credit card transaction placed via the telephone. At no time is your credit card number stored on our website or in our online database.

Any notice, which we are required to give to you regarding the services, may be sent by e-mail or first class-post to the address provided by you during your order process or your address you have registered with us from time to time.
Unless otherwise explicitly stated, notices to us must be sent by registered mail or by email to the address above.
Notices sent by e-mail are deemed to be received 24 hours after an e-mail is sent unless we receive a notification that the e-mail address is invalid. Registered mail and first class-post will be deemed received 3 days following the date of mailing.
These terms sets out the entire understanding and agreement between you and us in relation to your purchase of products from us. No other person shall have any right to enforce these terms.
Nothing in these terms shall create or imply any agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer or franchisor-franchisee relationship between you and us. Headings are for reference purposes only and in no way define, limit, construe or describe the scope or extent of the provisions to which they relate.
If any provision in these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and the rest of the terms shall remain in full force and effect.
You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these terms to another person if we agree in writing.
Our failure to act with respect to a breach by you or others shall not be considered as a waiver of our right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches.
These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with English law and you agree that the English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute under this agreement.
